I’ve spent more than a decade sitting in rooms with artists at every stage — from people writing their very first song to those who’ve already made several records.
I meet artists where they’re at, keep the room comfortable, and help the song take shape without forcing it into something it doesn’t want to be.
Common Questions
I've never written a song before.? Does that matter?
Absolutely not. Some of my favorite sessions are with people who are brand new and full of ideas. Honestly, I learned the most about songwriting when I moved to Nashville and found myself in rooms with writers who were better than me. That experience changed everything — and it’s the same kind of environment I try to create for you.
What if I’m just a singer and don’t play an instrument?
No problem at all. A few of my favorite singers ever didn’t really play instruments. That said, I will gently nudge you toward learning one — even at a basic level — because it’s one of the healthiest things you can do as a songwriter. It opens doors creatively and gives you more control over your ideas.
Is this more teaching, or more producing?
It’s honestly both. I believe in purpose-driven learning — the song and the recording are the goal, and everything I teach comes in service of that. Whether you’re brand new or seasoned, I try to take advantage of every teachable moment. And if you already have fully written songs and just want a producer to execute your vision, I’m happy to do that too.
Will you help me finish songs I started with AI (like Suno)?
Yes — AI can be a tool, just like a lot of other tools I’ll introduce you to. My only line in the sand is this: I don’t want AI to replace learning the craft. Understanding songwriting, working with real musicians, and shaping performances is still the best way to serve a song. We can absolutely use AI and make sure you’re actually growing as a writer.
Do I need my own recording equipment?
Not at all. If it makes for you I can help you choose a simple setup — a laptop, a basic DAW, and a microphone — and show you how to use it. I’ve made records with artists in India, London, and all over the world without ever being in the same room. Distance has never been a limitation.
Do I own my recordings?
Yes — 100%. Everything we create together is yours to use however you want, whether that’s work tapes, social media content, or fully released records.
How long are your sessions?
Sessions usually run anywhere from 2 to 4 hours. I care a lot about momentum and completion — one of my main goals is giving you tools that help you actually finish songs whenever possible, not just talk about them..
